Conference Month
October is Parent Teacher Conference month. Conferences are designed to help parents stay connected with what their child is learning and their progress. Conferences can truly strengthen communication and foster a more clear understanding so that parents and teachers can partner to help a child achieve success. Because of this, we urge each of you to attend conferences on Friday, October 19th. You will receive a scheduled appointment from your teacher next week. However, you are welcome at any time this month to request a conference with your child's teacher. Please call if you wish to schedule an alternate appointment.

Calendar Change
Halloween classroom celebrations have been moved from Wednesday, October 31st to Friday, October 26th so children can have all their Halloween celebrations on one day. Please have your child come dressed in their favorite costume for the parade and pumpkin patch on Friday, October 26th.  Also bring a change of clothes for your child to change out of their costumes. Classroom celebrations will include a craft, snack and picking a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Wednesday, October 31st will be a free dress day. We ask that students NOT wear their costumes on this day.

Run for Fun

Last week students joined together in a campus wide spirit event. The Run for Fun (formerly known as the Jog-A-Thon) encourages exercise and also helps raise funds for the Historic Anaheim Campus Parent Association to support activities throughout the year. We would like to thank family and friends that sponsored their child's Run for Fun efforts.

Run for Fun Popsicles
Hailey H., Jenna N., Katherine W., and Samantha W. really liked their popsicles after the Run for Fun.  Look at those purple tongues! More pictures are posted on our
