Fairmont Family Football Night

Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students from all campuses have been invited to sing the National Anthem Saturday, September 22nd at 5:00pm before kick-off at the Preparatory Academy football game. We ask that all students who are interested in participating check in no later than 4:30pm at the front of the stadium with Ms. Christina Dodson from the Historic Anaheim Preschool to receive your wristband. Students are to wear their uniform shirt with jeans. Fun activities for kids will start at 5:00pm. There will be a bounce house, balloon animals, face painting, and more! Food will be available at the Snack Shack as well. Students and their families are encouraged to stay and root for the Fairmont Huskies.

Johnny Appleseed Celebrations
Johnny Appleseed was trained as a nurseryman and in 1800 began collecting apple seeds from cider presses in Pennsylvania. He then traveled west to the Ohio River Valley, planting apple seeds along the way. He tended 1,200 acres of his own orchards and was responsible for hundreds of square miles of others.

The Preschool Campus will be celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day Wednesday, September 26th. Our classrooms will be overflowing with apples and tons of fun! There will be apple pies, apple chips, apple muffins, apple sauce, and other special apple treats. Check with your child's class Room Parent to see what your child can contribute in celebrating this special day.

Run for Fun
On Friday, September 28th students will join together in a campus-wide spirit event. The Run for Fun (formally known as Jog-A-Thon) encourages exercise and also helps raise funds for the Historic Anaheim Campus Parent Association to support activities throughout the year. We hope that family and friends will consider being a sponsor for your child's Run for Fun efforts. Sponsorship can be in the form of a monetary pledge per lap run or a flat sponsorship. Extra sponsorship forms are available in the front office. Please turn in all pledge forms to the FPA Mail Box no later than Thursday, September 27th. This will be a free dress day. Students are encouraged to wear athletic gear and comfortable shoes that they can run in.
