Spring Musical Performances
The Preschool Musical this past Wednesday was a smash! Thank you to all our parents for your support. Elementary parents, please set aside Wednesday, May 30th at 5:30pm for the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten performance at Mable and enjoy the musical talents that have been serenading the Citron Campus. JK and K students will be traveling to the Mable Campus next week during school hours for rehearsals. Each child will be wearing a specific costume that correlates to their classroom performance during the production. If you are unaware of your child's costume requirement, please contact your room mom or Mrs. Beilman at tbeilman@fairmontschools.com.

As the year is coming to an end, I'd like to reflect on the past year of PE at the Citron Campus. I feel so privileged to be with your children on a daily basis. My students have come so far from our first day in PE. Every student has improved in learning how to jump rope, hold yoga poses, catch and throw a ball, run, and play sports together as a team. Most importantly the students have learned how to show good sportsmanship and to be the best they can be every day. It has been a true joy to see the process of learning and implementing their new skills in sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and baseball. Sports have helped students to develop their ability to work as a team, problem solve and build a strong work ethic through learning new skills and games.

I am very excited to present medals to the children who have run 25 miles in PE during the school year. I will be honoring the students next Friday, June 1st at our flag salute assembly. The students have been nothing but a pleasure to have in class. Thank you to the parents for your support and encouragement of your children; it really goes a long way. I hope you have a wonderful summer!
