 Congratulations, Mr. Alfred!
It is with great joy and excitement that we are announcing that Mr. Alfred, our campus maintenance manager, welcomed his first child last month. Mr. Alfred does so much for all of us, often without even being asked. Babies have many needs and this can be overwhelming for new parents emotionally as well as financially. In an effort to support this new family the Citron FPA is accepting donations towards the purchase for a gift card to Babies 'R' Us. The Citron FPA plans to congratulate him and present him with this gift at our flag salute on Friday, March 2nd. All donations are optional. If you would like to make a donation, please place your donation in an envelope and write "Mr. Alfred" on the front by Wednesday, February 29th. Any check can be made out to the FPA. Even if you are unable to donate, be sure to wish Mr. Alfred your congratulations.
Re-Enrollment
Royal Court Re-Enrollment is almost over! Today is the last day to turn in your re-enrollment contract for priority registration. Every Citron student who re-enrolls will not only be a part of morning announcements and receive a special treat, but they will also help their classroom percentage. The classroom with the highest re-enrollment will earn an additional prize. Results will be displayed on the Royal Guard board located in the main lobby. Remember if we reach our overall goal we will have a party that will rival that of true royalty, with a magical Royal Waltz lesson from our very own Mrs. Douglas!
Chalk Talk: How To Keep Your Kids Safe Online

The Internet offers limitless opportunities for young learners, but it can be a dangerous place if children lack key safety rules. Join Monique Nelson, Chief Operating Officer of OC-based Web Wise Kids to learn how to keep your kids safe as they surf the web. Young children are welcome, child care will be provided.
Bunny Photos
The Citron FPA is offering the convenience and ease of professionally taken photos of your children with the Easter bunny at the Citron Campus on the morning of Thursday, March 1st. We encourage you to bring all your children even if they do not attend Citron. We are delighted that a fellow Fairmont parent and professional photographer, Frank Salas, has generously offered his services. Extra forms are available in the front office. Please let your child's teacher know if they will be taking photos.
Fairmont Family Night
Join us on Friday, April 20th at 7:05 pm at Angel Stadium, Angels vs. Baltimore Orioles. Tickets are on sale for $16 each with seating in the Left Field Pavilion. It's Big Bang Fireworks Friday! Extra order forms are available in the front office or you can print it out at home. Please fill out your form and turn it in to the wooden Activities box.
