Fairmont Family Night Football Game at Christian Valley High
Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students have been invited to sing the National Anthem Saturday, October 8th at 7:00pm before kick-off at the game. Fun activities for kids will start at 6:00pm. There will be a bounce house, balloon animals, face painting, and more! We ask that all students who are interested in participating meet near the bounce house no later than 6:30pm to prepare for the anthem. Students are to wear their blue husky pup polo shirts to show school spirit. Citron students and their families are encouraged to stay and root for the Fairmont Huskies. Check with the front office for more information.

Calendar Change
Please note a change in the Citron Campus Calendar for October 11th. The Calendar shows this date as School Closed. However the Citron Campus will be open for a regular school day. Please check our google calendar regularly for any changes in our schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your understanding.

Parent Teacher Conferences
We would like to invite you to join us on October 21, 2011 for Parent Teacher Conferences. Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled on an individual basis by the teacher. The conference will include a time to discuss your child's strengths and challenges as well as highlight growth that has occurred over the course of the first month of school, and make goals for the remainder of the year. Check your child's Friday folder for your schedule time.

Have you noticed something new outside Mrs. Douglas' office? At Citron we are filling each other's buckets with good thoughts and good feelings. You can learn more by reading "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" by Carol McCloud.  Each month we are teaching monthly pillars. As we recognize each child's good deeds, we will give them color to add to the rainbow corresponding with the color of their good deed. Below are each month's good deed and color.

September/October: Fairness - Orange
November: Respect - Yellow
December/January: Trustworthiness - Blue
February: Caring - Red
March: Responsibility - Green
April: Citizenship - Purple
May/June: All Pillars

Can you see how many children have shown fairness since school started? Feel free to come and take a look at all the students who are filling their buckets!
