Voting Day Results

Students were excited when they voted on Tuesday, November 2nd. They had a tough choice to make between an ice cream party or donut party. There was no doubt that Ice Cream came in a clear winner when the count came back 128 to 57. All the students will enjoy their winnings on Tuesday, November 9th for snack.
Character Counts - Respect

Hero Knows... Character Counts! We are continuing to build our Character Counts rainbow for the month of November with yellow for "Respect".  Our teachers have begun discussing the meaning and how the students can show "Respect" at school and home. Feel free to join us and speak with your child about "Respect" and the importance of using good manners, be tolerant and accepting of differences, be considerate of others feelings, and not hitting or hurting anyone. As we recognize each child for being respectful, we will give them a brick to add to the rainbow corresponding with the color of their good deed. We would like parents to also join in the efforts of building our rainbow and would like you to give out yellow bricks to anyone you see acting on this deed. Together with the help of our campus mascot "Hero", the students will gain an understanding of the importance of good character. Feel free to come and take a look at how many students have been respectful so far for the month of November!
Food Drive
Second Harvest Food Bank

Items that are in great need are all non-perishables, stuffing, rice, canned items, and shampoo. Please look for a flyer coming home with more information.
