Apple Tasting
Friday was Johnny Appleseed Day. The Campus was overflowing with apples and the students learned everything and anything that had to do with them. There were pies, apple chips, juice, muffins, apple sauce, and special treats like apple stickers.
Each classroom celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday and learned interesting facts about his life. Did you know that he spent 49 years of his life in the American wilderness planting apple seeds? We would like to say a special thank you to the volunteers that helped in the classrooms. |

Let's Show Our Spirit!
This week is Spirit Week at our campus and we would like to encourage everyone to take part in the week's activities. Our week will start by showing our Husky Pup pride and wearing our husky pup polo or t-shirt on Monday.
We will also get a special visit from our Fairmont Prep Football team and cheerleaders. I hear that if we cheer loud enough at the pep rally happening at 1:00pm, that the Husky Mascot will make an appearance! Make sure to check out the calendar for the spirit week theme of each day. |

Family Sock Hop
Students, parents, teachers, and staff will twist the night away this Wednesday at our very own 1950's family sock hop. The night will be filled with burgers, root beer floats, a hula hoop competition, a D.J., and Elvis! Families are able to dedicate songs to their kids, teacher, or loved ones by filling out a dedication ballot.
The song list and drop box is located in the lobby of the office and each song is a $1. This evening is a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Don't forget to send in your RSVP for the night, there are extra forms in the office if needed.
