Finally! The warm weather is making
an appearance and we're able to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors
with our babies!
We're
very excited by the number of new families joining our service and
those that are making the foray into cloth diapering on their own - it
isn't as hard as everyone thinks, is it?!
I am very excited to announce

fabulous world of cloth diapering even more accessible and fun for
more families.
We are
finalizing expansion plans and are very excited to announce that we will
be offering service from Vernon down to Penticton starting this
September! So if you're due any time after September 1 or know someone
who is - get in touch and we'll set up a consultation to show you all
the ins and outs of our service! Please note that fuel surcharges may be applicable.
The newly introduced HST has some pros and cons for our customers. Unfortunately, our Diaper Service is now subject to 12% tax (whereas it used to be 5%). I encourage you to write your MLA as I have done and express your opinion about tax rebates for families that make the environmentally and healthier choice of cloth diapering - the resources saved are tremendous. Hey, if Sweden can lobby for tax rebates for "green" families, why can't we? The pro is that they have not applied the HST to cloth diapers, covers, potty training supplies or feminine hygiene products. You will receive a point of sale rebate on these items (in other words the tax will not be added). GST is still applicable. In addition, our out-of-province customers will not be charged the HST. This tax goes into effect July 1.
