I think the saying is "May showers bring June flowers"? At least that's the hope!

We're excited to announce that our new HUGE equipment is up and running and that we are preparing to expand South as far as Penticton this summer with our diaper service. Vernon is in the plans for September. So if you know of parents who might be interested in our services, please pass along the news.

We had a great time in Toronto visiting with manufacturer Monkey Doodlez - have you tried their swim diapers? Definitely one of our favorite products and perfect for all babies, whether you cloth diaper or not. We loaded up a suitcase and came home with some great new prints - check them out!

Last month we attended the Babies in Bloom show. It was terrific to see so many of our "Tushees" taking in the show. We gave two presentations on the main stage about diapering options - families were surprised to learn about the toxins in disposable diapers, the environmental impact and the cost comparisons. As we like to say, when it's greener, healthier and less expensive, why wouldn't you choose cloth?

If you have family and friends with babes in diapers or who are expecting, I encourage you to take a few minutes to tell them about your experience with cloth diapering if you haven't already. Health Canada has recently launched an investigation into Pampers Dry Max Diapers as a result of consumer complaints about severe rash. It is my hope that the investigation will serve to educate families about the fact that ALL disposable diapers lead to increase in diaper rash - in fact Proctor and Gamble even released statistics from a study that showed "the incidence of diaper rash increases from 7.1 percent to 61 percent with the increased use of their diapers."
