What Ode to Mother Really Means

By Wendy Surber

M is for the MANY times I wished frozen whiskey soaked teething rings were legal..
O is for the strange and mysterious ODORS that only having children can create. It took us a month to figure out the formula bottle wedged between the couch cushions.
T is for those cold nights I lovingly TUCKED you in. The only way we could find you the next morning was by the lock of hair sticking out on your pillow.
H is for the HAIR BRAINED ideas I had of hiding the beets in the yogurt, thinking I could go to the bathroom without an audience, and eating a meal without a child using me as a jungle gym.
E is for the ENDLESS hours I endured with Barney stuck in my head singing, "I Love You..."
R is for the times my children ROARED with laughter when I told them for the hundredth time to stop spitting on the cat!

Love Moon:

The Food Grade Biodegradable Solution for Women around the World

Winalite "Love Moon" has just come out with incredibly effective, biodegradable sanitary napkins that are 100% toxin free to both the user and the Earth. They have a negative ion strip embedded in them that helps eliminate odour, balance hormones, and ease cramping. And although they are not Canadian made, there is nothing like them available in Canada.
They are priced right as well as more effective than anything else on the market. And knowing that I am making a difference in this unique way is a wonderful thing. In fact, I have made a short you tube video demo to share with other conscious mothers who want to make a difference too. Check out www.mamalovemoon.com and contact Rebecca at info@momswithvision.org for information on ordering or becoming a distributor.

Quick Fact:
According to the Real Diaper Association, a non-profit organization that lobbies to get parents to use cloth diapers, the raw materials required to keep one baby in disposable diapers for one year include more than 136 kilograms of wood, 23 kg of petroleum and nine kg of chlorine. Manufacturing consumes 2.3 times more water than the manufacturing, using and washing of cloth diapers.

Cosmetics
The Environmental Working Group is the website that I research all of our cosmetic products on. Many products are listed and if they are not you can research individual ingredients. The website is www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/

Thanks again a million times for the help you've been. My cloth experience would have been much different if I hadn't found you as a resource and I'm so grateful. As it is, the transition hasn't even made a bump in the routine!
