Getting to Know Alyson Roth
Free Wheelchair Mission's Alyson Roth has become a welcome presence at Network TwentyOne's North American weekend seminars. In 2000 Alyson was involved in a near-fatal car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. But rather than being a victim she chose to use her 'challenge' to raise resources for Free Wheelchair Mission.
Alyson's beauty and attitude propelled her to the first runner up in a national beauty pageant for those in wheelchairs. And now our North American Independent Business Owners always look forward to seeing Alyson at our weekend seminars and hearing about our partnership with Free Wheelchair Mission. Would you consider giving a little more to NOC to help people have the gift of mobility with Free Wheelchair Mission? Thank you for always being so generous! If you won't be at a WES or would like to give now please see the giving tabs above for the US and Canada. For more information about Free Wheelchair Mission go to their website at Free Wheelchairs. |
Skip Ross' Circle A Ranch Camp for Young Leaders
Like Jim and Nancy Dornan, Skip and Susan Ross are people who let their success go to their hearts instead of their heads. They began their dream of owning and operating a youth camp over 35 years ago. Today, Circle A Ranch welcomes many kids from around the world. Skip invests his time teaching them leadership principles, goal-setting strategies, the importance of attitude, and the way to develop self-confidence. The program also involves the full gambit of summer-camp activities, from horse-back riding to canoeing, to team sports, and so much more. The teens have an amazing time having fun, making friends, being in a unique and positive environment, and learning skills and attitudes that will make a difference for a lifetime. Circle A accepts campers from 10-17 years of age. The website with all the information, dates, and applications is www.circlea.org. The ranch also offers a volunteer week program where adults come in from around the country and invest their time preparing the camp for the summer. The volunteers work hard during the day, and then in the evening Skip shares seminars with the group. It is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the amazing program and also develop yourself with Skip's teaching. For more information on this opportunity, please visit www.circlea.org. |
