Thank You 21 Club! | |
"Nancy and I want to express our gratitude to all of you around the world who have joined Network of Caring's 21 Club. Your partnership with us means more than we could really say in a newsletter. Because you have chosen to join us in supporting NOC many more lives are being touched than we could possibly reach. And your willingness to join us also says something about how you feel about us too, which means even more. When we come to an N21 event and see those 21 Pins in the audience we are thrilled to know we have so many friends who share our desire to help others. Thank you again and may God bless you for your generosity!"

Greetings! | CSO, R.D. Saunders |
Network of Caring is creating a culture of generosity throughout the world of Network TwentyOne. Don't get me wrong...because of Jim and Nancy Dornan N21 has always had a generous mindset, that's just who they are. But now more and more IBOs and ABOs worldwide are seeing Network of Caring as their charity and not just something they help Jim and Nancy do.
I have visited every region of N21 worldwide except South Africa (and I am planning to go there soon.) In each place I encounter the same thing: N21 associates want to give and help others, and are thrilled that NOC is there to help them do just that.
At N21's North American Leadership Conference in Atlanta in September NOC had a 30% increase in the number of donors over last year's conference. When NOC was presented for the first time in Europe at N21's Go Diamond event in Budapest, Hungary in September there was a fantastic response. In Thailand at the N21 Asia-Pacific Go Diamond in July several N21 leaders discussed launching NOC initiatives in their own countries. NOC Australia is growing rapidly and having an amazing impact in that region. Generosity is increasingly part of the culture of N21 and its part of the reason there is nothing in the world like Network TwentyOne!

Synergy Wins Cup Again
The Fernando Foundation's Atlanta Synergy again gave a dominating performance in the annual America's Champions Cup held in Vancouver, Canada. With a relentless defense that yielded no goals in the entire tournament and an offense that always found the holes in the other team's defense, Synergy won the tournament for the second year in a row. In the final match, Synergy outscored the Tampa Thunder 4-0, raising Synergy's tournament scoring total to 18-0.
What is most exciting to the leaders of the Fernando Foundation is that so many of the teams in this tournament were started through their efforts. And many of the finest players in the tournament were trained in clinics or camps by FF personnel. The sport continues to bless the disabled and grow around the world because of the efforts of the Fernando Foundation and the support of her donors. |
Europe Joins the Team
| Hans and Eva Nusshold |
In the last NOC newsletter we announced the addition N21's Asia-Pacific region on the NOC team. But now the Network of Caring army has added another mighty force: NetworkTwentyOne Europe! Though some of N21's best leaders in Europe were already donors to NOC, this was the first time R.D. Saunders represented NOC at N21's Go Diamond event for European ABOs. Over $25,000 USD was raised for NOC to partner with World Vision's Child Rescue Campaign. Child Rescue is a program to help children in the most dire scenarios: war, natural disaster, famine, and disease. Because of the response of N21's European IBO's, NOC will be able to rescue 2500 children from extreme circumstances. Additionally, many Europeans want to launch a NOC initiative (like free wheelchairs or power soccer) in their own countries. A dialogue was started by several leading IBO's with NOC CSO, R.D. Saunders about how NOC could bring the message of charity and generosity to their respective homelands. The Network of Caring team is truly becoming a global force for good! |
FWM President Visits N21/NOC Offices

Free Wheelchair Mission Founder
Don Schoendorfer |
Network of Caring was proud to host the founder and president of Free Wheelchair Mission, Don Schoendorfer at the N21/NOC offices. Mr. Schoendorfer updated us on the progress of several key initiatives between NOC and FWM. Through our partnership over 2500 free wheelchairs have been distributed around the world. When you include the impact of mobility for a disabled person on family and friends, 10-12,000 people have been touched by the generosity of N21 Amway affiliated business owners. Mr. Schoendorfer was also able to give advice to Dave Ruelas, Director of the Fernando Foundation, on the creation of a power chair designed specifically for power soccer. If an affordable power wheelchair could be developed it would more easily enable the FF to launch power soccer in developing countries. In the meantime NOC and FWM will continue to share the gift of mobility with the millions of disabled poor around the world. Remember 100% of all donations to NOC go to the need. The Holiday season begins early here in the US with Thanksgiving, a day originally set aside for being thankful for what you have been given. If you are a part of N21 your probably feel very fortunate which is why Nancy Dornan is always saying, "Aren't we grateful?" I have found that one of the best ways to demonstrate thankfulness is through generosity. And whether it is by giving to Network of Caring or some other worthy charity, do your best to appreciate your good fortune this Holiday season and throughout the year.
Sincerely,
R.D. Saunders Network of Caring |
