Greetings! | My son Logan has been playing American football for years. One of his coaches once said the only difference between team members and fans is commitment.
You can look like a team member by wearing a jersey or cheering loud but until you are out on that field, giving your best, taking the hits, and working to get better you're just a fan. At Network of Caring, we are always thrilled when people are fans of our work. But our mission success of "meeting the most basic needs of people" is only realized as we have more team members and enjoy more commitment from our team mates. Soccer player Mia Hamm once said, I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion. What is great about Network of Caring is that everyone can be on the team regardless of their talent level. If you have recently joined the team as a donor, thank you for your commitment. Because you have given many lives will be changed, including your own quite possibly. Here are some other ways to raise your commitment level so we can touch even more lives.
1. Go to the next $21 Level in your giving (a month, a week, or a day)
2. Invite others to give. Show them the NOC video or brochure or direct them to the website.
3. Remember NOC in your estate planning. Contact us if you would like help in this regard.
4. Present NOC as an addition to your church's missions program. I speak regularly at church missions conferences and I would be happy to assist your church in raising its annual missions budget if they add NOC to their missions program.
5. Check to see if your company matches the donations of their employees to non-profit organizations and if they do, participate in the program.
6. Present NOC as an option for your company's corporate giving. Remember, it's the team members who really get the rewards! R.D. Saunders Chief Significance Officer |
Network TwentyOne Ukraine Affiliated Business Owners Give in a Big Way! |
Recently several Network TwentyOne leaders in Ukraine partnered with Network of Caring to distribute wheelchairs in their nation. To have mobility as a disabled person in many countries means depending on a loved one to carry you or even crawling on the ground. Many of the handicapped choose rather to just stay home with no life and little hope. Our leaders in Ukraine saw this need in their country and responded with great generosity. They rallied their IBOs, raised tens of thousands of dollars, assembled the chairs, and distributed them to 550 disabled people around Kiev. It was such a positive, rewarding experience that the Ukrainian leadership wants to distribute over a 1000 more wheelchairs! Congratulations to these leaders for partnering with Network of Caring in such a large way and for catching the Dornan's vision that there is no success without significance.

Network of Caring Reaches Out to Haiti |
Free Wheelchairs Arrive in Haiti |
The month of May was a life-changing month for many people in Haiti...the many whose lives had already been drastically changed. But this time the change was for the better as Network of Caring delvered 550 free wheelchairs as well as food and medical supplies to the Haiti people. Along with our partners, Free Wheelchair Mission and GO International we not only changed the lives of the disabled but their familes as well. Often the care of a disabled loved one can cripple the family as well as the individual. And usually the one injured longs for the freedom that new health and mobility can give them. Thanks to the generosity of Network TwentyOne IBOs all over the world, Network of Caring was able to bring hope to a people yearning for hope after the massively destructive earthquake in January.
Wheelchairs About to be Delivered |
And getting the wheelchairs to the people quickly was vital so they could begin to adjust to their disability before a sense of hopelessness and depression set in. Thanks to the skill of our wonderful partners at Free Wheelchair Mission, the first chairs did arrive quickly.
And with the assistance of GO International our medical supplies and food/water arrived within 2 weeks of our fundraising efforts in the US. According to the Haitian leadership, without those supplies from groups just like ours the unprecedented suffering of the people might have devolved into anarchy.
Thank you for your generosity...it made a difference in the lives of people facing tragedy.

Building a Business to Help Others |
Circle A Ranch |
When Skip and Susan Ross began building their business they had a dream...to help young people. That decision inspired them all the way to the Crown pin level in the Amway business! It also led to the establishment of Circle A Ranch, a summer camp in Rockford, MI, USA where the Rosses have helped 1000s of teens from all over the world. Set in the lush hills north of Grand Rapids, Circle A provides teens with a rustic setting for canoeing, horseback riding, swimming and many other activities. But the core of Circle A's program is the outstanding lessons Skip teaches twice a day called, Dynamic Living. The overall goal is to help teens in every facet of their lives...physically, relationally, and spiritually. And now after 30 years in operation, virtually every leader in the Network 21 world in the US and around the world has had a child or family member attend Circle A. And this year, 18 teens from China will experience Circle A Ranch!
I had the opportunity to visit Circle A a few days ago and came away thinking that is exactly why we have Network of Caring in partnership with Network TwentyOne. Part of the reason to build your business is so you can help others. Skip and Susan's dreams have come true because from the very beginning they also dreamed of helping others. Network of Caring gives you the place to plant your dreams. Do something for Network of Caring now...but dream big dreams for when you go Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Crown, or Founders Crown Ambassador! Dream of funding an entire wheelchair distribution of 550 chairs, or sponsoring 50 children a month at Karuna, or of outfitting an entire power soccer team. Call me if you want to talk about it and maybe we can create a special dream just for you. Add Network of Caring to your dream building and let's build the business to help others!
