Event Numbers
We would like to thank everyone who came to our event to climb, volunteer and show their support. We ended up with:
 
-357 Climbers from 4 different states - Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland & Pennsylvania
-90 Volunteers (Wow!)
-About $75,000 raised for The Up Center
-10 articles online and/or in print in publications ranging from The
Team Up Mentor David Figueroa and his mentee Glendon Barcliff climbed in the 50 story race and were featured in a story in the Chesapeake Clipper.
 
Step Up!
Virginian-Pilot
to the Health Journal to The Flagship.
-Stair climbing stories on at least 17 newscasts or television shows, including all four major local news channels, particularly WAVY TV
-Numerous mentions on radio thanks to Eric Worden at BOB FM
-Great success not only raising money for the agency but also spreading word about the help The Up Center provides for the community!
-Plans to hold the event next year --We'll let you know when we set a date!

Thank You for Rolling with the Punches
Thank you to our entertainers and our guests for bearing with us as we worked to rearrange placement of some activities because of the iffy weather. We know the inside stage set-up was not ideal in all cases, but we appreciate your patience.
