Dear Friends,
 When I opened the barn door and the Easter Bunny walked in, I knew it was going to be a good day! It seems that Tiffany Dodson, one of our brilliant moms, sent the good bunny our way to brush up on his riding skills before his big day on Easter Sunday. Who knew -- except Tiffany, of course -- that the Easter Bunny delivers some of his baskets via horseback?!? That bunny rode the hair off CC! Our horses are phenomenal. CC never flinched when The Easter Bunny climbed aboard. And Turbo never put a foot out of place as hundreds of people swarmed to pet him recently at a charity event. We took Turbo to the Lily's Friends Race for Charity at the BB&T Ballfield. You've heard of politicians kissing babies? Well Turbo, our pony ambassador to the world, was kissing babies in their strollers! He even smooched Bolt, the Dash mascot!
I know people must think we're nuts -- and they're right. But Lawdy, do we have a good time!
This weekend we welcome Scott Matton, a legend in the horse world. He will be teaching at CLS all weekend long. So stop in and watch. Saturday morning at 11, we will host an informational session about show horses that's open all, as well. We look forward to seeing you, at the barn!

CLS's Kids Morning Out for Forsyth Family Draws a Crowd of over 300
Wow -- now that was a party! CLS was proud to host the April "Mom's Morning Out" that recently brought an enormous crowd for crafts, pony rides and socializing. We loved having this wonderfully fun group of moms, dads and children. And we love partnering with Forsyth Family -- an incredible resource for our community!

 Legendary Harness Racing Figure Earl Lennox Stops by CLS for a Visit
What a surprise when Trotting Horse announcer Earl Lennox waltzed into CLS one recent morning. The well-known announcer of race horses was in town to call a race in Pinehurst, NC.
He said he had always admired the grand American Saddlebred and wanted to stop by Cash Lovell Stables to watch our amazing horses work.
It was such a treat to meet Mr. Lennox, known far and wide for his race calling. The horse world is a small world, filled with wonderful people. We're so honored to be the Go-To Place for Saddlebreds in our area!

 Registrations for our Second Homeschool Horsemanship Class Start Today
Registration opens today Registration for our 2nd Homeschool Horsemanship Class is now open. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 11:00 am-noon. Dates are:
May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and June.
This class provides a wonderful opportunity for area homeschooled children to enjoy the wonder of horses AND to fulfill their Physical Eduation requirements.
References are available from parents whose children have enjoyed our first session. Just call the barn for details!

Jesse James WOWS Friends at the Ronald McDonald House -- sporting his shirt!
Making his annual visit to the Ronald McDonald House, Jesse James celebrated yet another successful "Sport a Shirt" Fundraiser this week. Thank you to all of you who bought shirts to support the Ronald McDonald House and treated a family to a night's stay. We love all the good the Ronald McDonald House is doing in our community, and we're proud to support their efforts!

Register Now for Lovell's Little Bits Charity Spring Fun Show!
WHAT: Charity Fun Horse Show, open to all Cash Lovell riders! WHEN: Saturday, May 5, 1:30 pm. Followed by our annual Kentucky Derby Party!
WHERE: Cash Lovell Stables. This horse show is free for spectators and is open to the public. Please invite tons of friends and family! 
WHY: We'll be working to stomp out hunger in our community through a foundation called "Horses Against Hunger." This group encourages Saddlebred lovers to work in creative ways to fight hunger worldwide. We're throwing a horse show!
WHO: You! We need everyone to help us raise money to benefit local food-related charities, including theSecond Harvest Food Bank and Senior Services/ Meals on Wheels. All barn family members and show participants/families are asked to help in our efforts!

Ms. Parker and many of our Show Horse families will be on hand on Saturday, April 14th at 11 am for a casual introduction to the world of Show Horses. Come early and watch our amazing show horses being worked. The action starts at 8:30 am!

CLS Will Be Giving Pony Rides at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair -- Please volunteer!
Come join us at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair on April 28. We'll be giving pony rides all day long! Volunteers are needed from 10:00 am-6:00 pm. You pick your times. The event will be held at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds. Please contact the barn if you can join us! And thank you so much!
