Dear CLS Friends and Families - We've just returned victorious from Tennessee where the CLS National Academy Finals Team smashed our winning record! They earned a stunning SIXTEEN National Championship and Reserve Championship titles! Please click here for a list of our rider's accomplishments. But as much fun as it is to win, I have long said that winning isn't why we show horses. We show horses because it makes us better people. We show horses because it brings together wonderful families and friends, and bonds us for life. We show horses because of the power these grand creatures give our children. If you want to read more about why we show horses, click here. This is the letter that I wrote to our Academy Nationals Team Members and Families this week, upon our return. It might give you a little insight into our wonderful barn family of show riders -- and our crazy shenanigans. Back on the home front, I'm heartened to report that things are continuing to roll along swimmingly. Please mark your calendars for Friday night, Nov. 12th for Fun Friday. We will make horse ornaments for the barn's Christmas tree for Festival of Trees. We also will hold a memorial service for Chance and Newton, two of our beloved school horses who've gone to heaven recently. Children can bring notes and pictures, and we will send them to the horses in heaven with a balloon release. Our riders will be happy to hear that they have several new school horses to meet -- including Stanley, Hobbs, and Wilson -- with more on the way!
Mark your calendars now for the Annual CLS Holiday Party, Saturday morning, Dec. 11th. Mechanica bull riding! Vaulting! The best biscuits and gravy in town! Huge, ginormous inflatable jumpies for the kids. Christmas surprises! Santa Claus! And so much more! Bring the whole family -- and your friends too! We can hardly wait! Parker

Join us for Fun Friday - this Friday Night, Nov. 12!
We're so excited about our plans for Fun Friday -- this Friday Night, November 12 from 6:00-9:00 pm. We'll be helping Emily Semans create ornaments for our entry in the Festival of Trees tree. We'll also host a memorial service and balloon send-off for our beloved horses Newton and Chance, both of whom recently passed away. Remembering Newton
We'll be hosting a celebration of the lives of both Newton and Chance with a Balloon Launch at our Little Bits Fun Friday (this Friday, Nov. 12), in addition to all of the other fun activities planned. This will allow all of our riders, especially our young ones, to honor these wonderful four-legged friends in their own way. Please join us.
Newton was one of CLS's most beloved horses. Many of us remember him for his strength and wonderful demeanor. Great horses bring something special to our lives, and Newton was truly a remarkable horse who gave 100%, every day. |

Thank You to Show HelpersAt the recent National Academy Show, Cash Lovell Stables was fortunate enough to have 17 incredible helpers who traveled to Tennesse to help our riders. This is hard, tiring, dirty, exhausting work. And we are so incredibly thankful to ALL of these wonderful people who helped with the show including:
