Thank You for Your Notes, Letters and E-mails About Chance!We have had lots of very nice letters and e-mails regarding the passing of Chance - a great horse. One memorable letter was from Sarah M. who said, "I was devastated to hear about Chance. I haven't ridden Chance in a while, but I always loved him the most. No matter how fussy he could be on the ground, he worked his heart out for his rider. He was adorable in his own right and taught me countless things about riding." Sarah also took some gorgeous pictures of Chance including the one to the right.

 Show Rider Ashley Stewart gets a big surprise!Show Rider Ashley Stewart got a well, incredibly large surprise at the recent Dallas Show -- a gorgeous 5-gaited Saddlebred named "Out of Reach." Ashley had just won her Pleasure Pony Stake class and the announcer asked her to dismount and come to the center of the ring. He had a note from Cash Lovell Stables saying she was the new owner of this beautiful horse. Ashley said afterwards that she was smiling so much that her cheeks hurt! The beautiful ribbon around his neck is now hanging up in her room. |

From Jeanine: I'll be teaching a regular schedule on Thursday, October 28th. I will be away at Nationals Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th.  CLS Gets a New Tent! Cash Lovell Stables unveiled a gorgeous new tent at the recent "Touch a Truck" event at the Children's Museum. The tent was designed by our very own Kim Stewart and will be used for pony rides, events, shows and well, everywhere we go. Thank you, Kim, and keep your eyes out for the gorgeous new tent!

 Emily Semans Creating a "Saddlebred Stampede" for the Festival of Trees (and she needs your help!)Emily Semans is coordinating our giant Festival of Trees entry and she needs parent volunteers to help with some prep work. If you are a parent who is willing to cut out felt and paint some wooden clothes hangers, please contact Emily by clicking here. CLS kids will actually be putting the ornaments together at the next Fun Friday meeting scheduled for November 9 from 6:00-9:00 pm. More info on that to come! |

CLS Parents Open Genghis Grill Something new to check-out: Our very own Sarah and Chris McAuley (parents of Show Rider Stella and Academy Team Member Sadie) have opened a great new restaurant: Genghis Grill. Sarah says, "It's a fast casual, build-your-own stir fry restaurant. The atmosphere is colorful, lively and lots of fun. You come in and choose from 14 proteins, 35 vegetables, six starches and a variety of spices and sauces to create your own unique dish. Be creative, be adventurous or pick your old favorites. It is all up to you!"
