Promoting reflexology on social media
We are currently in process of launching the AoR on social media networking sites to promote reflexology to a wider audience. Plus, we want our members to interact with us via social network sites they are using.
Be one of the first to join us by clicking on your favourite sites. We have had a presence on Facebook for some time but now we're launching informational videos on You Tube, we are getting all a Twitter and we will soon be launching a 'member's only' group on LinkedIn.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new design of badge for Honorary, Fellow and Full members of the AoR to wear. If you're due to qualify soon, the picture on the left shows you a sneaky peek of what the new badges look like.
If you are already an Honorary, Fellow or Full member of the AoR and own a pin badge in one of our previous designs, please be aware that these are still valid. However, if you would like to purchase one of the new-design badges, you are more than welcome to through our sales website by clicking here. |

It's easy to earn and record CPD points
A new 'Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme Handbook' on how to earn and record CPD points is now available as a download. The good news is that you are probably earning many points already by: reading Reflexions, doing condition research, discussing reflexology with fellow practitioners and attending Area Group meetings. It really doesn't have to be costly to keep your skills up to date. A series of downloadable CPD evidence advice leaflets on how to record your chosen activity accompanies the handbook.
Log onto the Members' Area, click on downloads & Info, then click on AoR information for further information on how to evidence CPD activities. |

Scam alert!
A number of our members have received emails from people who claim to be living in China and due to come over to England for a holiday. The emails go on to say that this person/ these people wish to book a reflexology treatment with you, and usually say that they'll pay up front in some way.
Please be aware that they may communicate quite freely until the point of payment, where they might do one of two things. Either they'd send a cheque for the payment, which would not go through, then ask for your bank details to 'make a direct transfer of the funds' or they would simply ask for your bank details 'for the payment' (of course, you might see your funds disappear, but you'll never see theirs appear!)
My best advice is to trust your instincts on this one and steer clear or simply ask for cash on the day, as it is far safer for you and your bank account if you only treat clients you know are genuine!
