Infusing Member Feedback Into All We Do!

In our continuous efforts to better understand how we are serving and meeting our membership's needs, NHP recently  established a Member Advisory Council.

Now in place for several months, the Council has offered invaluable feedback about simplifying member materials and making our website more accessible.  Council members have also volunteered suggestions for what health education materials would be most useful and helped us better understand member survey result findings.

The Member Advisory Council meets a few times a year and we at NHP are delighted with the current members' participation.  Their loyalty and shared commitment to help us do better is much appreciated.

Providers who become aware of NHP patients interested in volunteering to be a part of our Member Advisory Council can call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-462-5449, or email us at memberservices@nhp.org.

Making Fitness a Goal

Did you know that most NHP members get reimbursement toward a health club membership at qualifying facilities?

Qualifying fitness programs are defined as those facilities offering cardiovascular and strength-training equipment (i.e. traditional health clubs, YMCA, etc) and copies of receipts and other documentation is required.

NHP Report Spotlight -  Member Roster Report

This month we want to feature the Member Roster Report  currently available to all primary care provider offices with access to NHPNet.

The Member Roster report provides a list of all active NHP members assigned to a primary care site and includes the following:
  • Member name (last, first)
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number
  • NHP ID number
  • Product/NHP Line of Business
  • Enrollment date/NHP effective date
  • Current PCP name
  • PCP effective date

Users can choose to view the report on screen or download a CSV file to manipulate the data as needed.

In addition, primary care offices can select to view assigned member data at the PCP level (i.e. PCP panel) as well as for a specific NHP product (Commercial, Commonwealth Care, MassHealth, etc).

We welcome provider feedback on enhancements to current reports or suggestions for new self-service NHP data. Please email your feedback or questions to our Provider Relations department at prweb@nhp.org or contact your NHP Provider Relations representative directly.
