The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties is proud to announce our partnership with Sanford Health-Meritcare for the addition of a new wellness facility in the rapidly growing Urban Plains development in southwest Fargo. The facility will be located at 5225 31st Ave. S., Fargo and a ground breaking will be held later this summer.
This facility, which is scheduled to open in Fall of 2011, will consist of over 78,000 square feet of recreational space including a multi-use pool, basketball and racquetball courts, group fitness and cycling studios, a substantial walking/running track and an expansive, state-of-the-art fitness center.
This project is all about partnership and doing what's best for the community. I believe together with Sanford Health-Meritcare, the YMCA can build a
facility focused on providing services for families and individuals who are
seeking a healthier, more active lifestyle. This partnership will also help
the YMCA fulfill our mission of enhancing the spirit, mind and body of all
persons in our community.
