Learn how to create a design for your slides. Customize your slide show with transitions and special effects. Create colorful slides with graphics, pictures and animated GIFs. Enhance your presentation with sound resources.

Google Maps | |
Create Explorations with Google Maps. Learn how to create a Google map with specific locations tagged to photos and descriptions. Learn to use this Google tool to create your own path of a hike, follow the path of the character in a story, or recreate the travels of a historical figure and save it to "My Maps" within Google. Use Google Maps as a virtual field trip to capture your students' interest in your classroom.

MovieMaker | | Incorporate multimedia into your classroom through the use of movies that will capture your student's interest and address state standards. Create a digital movie incorporating images, sound, text, and video. Learn how to enhance your movie with titles, transitions, and special effects. (MovieMaker is for PC only)

Creating Interactive PowerPoint Presentations | |
In this class you will learn how to make non-linear, interactive PowerPoint presentations that use sounds, movies, and websites. You'll leave with several templates you can use in your classroom and the skills to build your own interactive presentation. (Not for beginners.)

Learn how to use PhotoStory in the classroom as a tool to create engaging presentations. Combine photos, music, and titles to create a digital story.

Podcasts in Education | |
In this class, we will learn about using existing podcasts in class, why to have students create podcasts, and how to use free software (called Audacity), to create podcasts.
