Scholarships of $500 to $2,500 awarded for student-created advertisements created in three format choices: written word, poster-style, or for television. Applicants can enter all three categories. Preparedness Grants |
The Contra Costa County Community Awareness and Emergency Response (CAER) Group has grants for up to $2,500 available to non-profit businesses, agencies, schools, and organizations to conduct an emergency preparedness drill or exercise. The drill must have a stated list of objectives that exclusively address Contra Costa County. Complete details and rules about the 2010 grants are posted on the CAER Web site.

Law Professional Volunteers Needed
|
We are looking for additional members of the California Bar Association and second- and third-year law students to serve as scorers and judges at the upcoming 29th Annual Contra Costa County Mock Trials. New volunteers will be joining more than 150 practicing and retired Bay Area lawyers, district attorneys, public defenders, and judges, as well as local college law students, who will be returning as Mock Trial scorers and judges.

East Bay Computer Using Educators Teachers

East Bay Computer Using Educators (CUE) presents Cool Tools for Learning VI. East Bay CUE is a professional organization of educators dedicated to supporting the use of technology in education.
