Confidence:

Getting It, Keeping It and Passing It On

Christie Angel

Christie Angel,

vice president of the governmental affairs firm Sean P. Dunn & Associates, is profiled in the 2011-2012 Edition of The Women's Book.

She says. "Confidence allows you to be a problem solver and in a position to take advantage of opportunities."

Knowing that, she has a list of confidence boosters that she turns to when facing something difficult: engage in a personal pep talk and prayer; stay away from negative energy, talk and people; exercise regularly; listen to the music of Stevie Wonder, India Arie or Earth, Wind and Fire; face fear and create a plan to resolve the issue or matter; talk to a family member or good girlfriend; and go help someone else.
