| Communities See Benefit in Sports Complexes
City of Westfield officials said there's one reason they invested $45 million for a 58-field baseball and soccer complex: They want to reduce tax bills by expanding their commercial tax base.

Fall Opening Targeted for New Albany Industrial Park
Grant Line Industrial Park West could be open by this fall, as New Albany Mayor Jeff Gahan touted the project recently as one of the city's most important economic development tools.

Where to Find a Creative Job Class in 2020
More than 43 million people are currently employed in creative class work, a third of the workforce, in fields like science, technology, and engineering; business, finance, and management; law; health care; education; and arts, culture, media, and entertainment.
Though nearly three-quarters (72 percent) of college graduates go on to do this kind of work, four in 10 creative class workers do not hold college degrees, according to analysis by my colleagues at the Martin Prosperity Institute (MPI). Simply holding a creative class job adds about the same amount to wages as having an additional one and a half years of higher education, according to research by economist Todd Gabe.
