WOMEN SINGERS'
RETREAT -- July 11 Created by one of our Listers, this is a one-day retreat, away from auditions and traffic, notes and rehearsals -- conceived with mature singers in mind. We'll honor the work we've done so far, and set new professional and financial goals with sessions featuring a financial workshop designed by Jen Mulder and a master class on vocal health led by voice therapist Joanna Cazden. Registration is just $35.

Bravos!
Big kudos to Gabriel Wyner, who just landed his first book deal with one of Random House's imprints. (Way to go straight to the big leagues, Gabe!) His official announcement is on his groundbreaking language blog, Tower of Babelfish. We look forward to seeing the book!!* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Steve Pence and Erin Baker Pence are packing up with little Duncan and moving! Steve has been offered a position with the Army Chorus, and the family will be leaving their current home by October. We hope they'll stay in touch, and keep us posted about the new life. Congrats, all of you! This is a new feature, to be offered regularly, so we can cheer for our colleagues' triumphs ...so be sure to send us your triumphs, too!.
