 Great deal on choral practice sessions
Summer Sing-Along series in Santa Monica challenges lisps, but offers great deal, good experience!
Singers may take advantage of these events as practice sessions, but they're really part of an innovative, interactive concert series. If your church rehearsals are off for the summer, this is a great way to spend a Thursday night. First United Methodist Church in Santa Monica is offering a Summer Sing-Along series, featuring great choral works and four guest conductors. PLUS, if you get your tickets by July 1st, you can save $15 (that's 25%) on the series: four concerts for only $45, and that includes refreshments and use of a score. Couldn't be easier.
The events are listed on our Lauri's List calendar, starting Thursday, July 8 with Lesley Leighton, conducting Fauré and Vaughan Williams. For those who come from musical but non-pro households, this is the perfect opportunity to sing with loved ones, make a night of it, and enjoy the summer.
