Gillian Lee Hutshing is involved in many children's charities and literacy programs throughout the United States.  Ms. Hutshing has repeatedly been a featured author and title at Book Expo America, West Hollywood Book Fair, LA Times Festival of Books, Orange County Children's Book festival, Orange County Department of Education Young Authors' Faire, and the Santa Barbara Writers Conference. 

Ms. Hutshing has had numerous signings and events at Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Borders Bookstores throughout California. She is on the Advisory Board  and is Booksellers Chairman for the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society (GLAWS) and Chairman of the Orange County Children's Book Fair Award Committee (OCCBF).
