Dear Friends of Sparky,
It has been awhile since my last newsletter for many reasons... I got engaged, I moved, have been doing home renovations... I was editing a film... Now I am looking for work and continuing to promote Sparky, while finishing two new books... I am also Co-Chair for WEHO, coordinating 29 authors and organizing 2 event schedules...It's been a lot of hard work, but very exciting!
This Sunday and next Sunday I will be a featured author and title at both the West Hollywood Book Fair (WEHO) Sunday, September 26 and at the Orange County Children's Book Festival (OCCBF) Sunday, October 3rd, 2010! What is most exciting, is that I have now been invited by both book fairs to read Sparky the Wonderfish on stage! I'll be reading on the Kids' Stage at WEHO and reading on the Animal Stage at OCCBF!!!

 READING - Approximately 1:00PM Gillian will be reading Sparky the Wonderfish on the WEHO Kids' Stage. As usual Gillian will give away FREE Sparky STICKERS and we will have a Sparky COLORING session
with kids after the Reading!
SIGNING - 3:00PM to 4:30PM at the GLAWS Booth E7,8 Gillian will be autographing and selling books, merchandise. She will also give away FREE Stickers, Bookmarks, Coloring pages!!!
SPEAKING - 4:45PM to 5:45PM the "Evening Program" in the Suspense, Thriller Pavilion. GLAWS Presents: Great Los Angeles Writers.
Gillian will be one of nine authors chosen for this honor. Gillian has been very successful branding and marketing her Sparky the Wonderfish book. She will discuss the marketing techniques which have taken her around the country for appearances, book events, charities, bookstore readings and more!
