The incomparable painter James Coleman launches the "Homage" series with his first work to feature the Looney Tunes characters made famous by the legendary animation director and creator, Chuck Jones.
Celebrating Jones's Centennial year, the Chuck Jones Gallery is pleased to present James Coleman's "Paradise Season", a fine art edition of 100 on canvas with 15 Artist Proofs. Featuring Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Tweety, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny, "Paradise Season" is the epitome of everything James Coleman.

Mike Kungl, the Art Deco-inspired artist, has created his second work for the "Homage to Chuck Jones" series being published for Jones's Centennial (1912-2012). "Acme 500" captures the essence of the classic conflict between hunter and hunted, success and failure, that are the keystones of the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons directed by Jones.
The artist's innate sense of design, style, color, and action come to fruition in this edition of 49 works on canvas. Measuring 20" x 30" unframed, the pre-publication pricing is only $595.00.
