See those smiling faces in the above photo?  They're there because the incomparable and irrepressible artist Mike Kungl came by the Chuck Jones Gallery--Tustin yesterday afternoon to deliver his first Chuck Jones-inspired original painting, "Q36".  And deliver he did!

"Q36" is a wonderful tribute to the genius of Chuck Jones and his unerring sense of character design and personality.  Mike was inspired by Marvin the Martian's determination to dominate and rule the universe in spite of his track record (0 wins...).  Through the use of color and form, he's elevated Marvin, at least in his own eyes, to super-hero status.  

The original mixed media painting "Q36" will be on display and for sale at the Chuck Jones Gallery-San Diego during this week's Comic Con International.  An open edition fine art print on paper, measuring approx. 18" x 12", will also be available to order.  As a special bonus, Mike has agreed to sign just 36 of the paper edition of "Q36", make sure you're one of the first to own this special image!
