Oscar Season
Exclusively Yours When you join the Chuck Jones Character Club!
In 1989, Chuck Jones created a series of original oil paintings that paid homage to important painters of the previous 100 years. He considered these some of the most satisfying works of his storied career, saying that he found painting in another artist's style most challenging.
For the first time Oscar Season, this open edition fine art print, and the last in the Masters Series to be released, is available to members of the Chuck Jones Character Club! Just $125.00 to Club members (a $50.00 savings over the regular price) this wry skewering of the work of Picasso by Chuck Jones is now available for order.
Not a member of the Chuck Jones Character Club? Not a problem, click here and join today!

As a preferred member of the Chuck Jones Character Club, an 10" x 8" photograph of the original painting Oscar Season sitting on Chuck Jones' easel will accompany each order of the fine art print.

On Saturday, March 27th from 4 to 7 PM the Chuck Jones Gallery, San Diego, Proudly Presents for the First Time And by Special Arrangement The Art of Mackenzie Thorpe "The Wonderment of Childhood"
 "My
ambition is to unite the world through the eyes of these children and let
today's cultures understand that in order to sustain our societies, we must
protect and nurture our children, and also protect and nurture the child within
us all. It is our responsibility to love these children, to let them
bring love back to the world, and to keep our eyes open to the wonderment of
childhood."
Fifty-four year old Mackenzie Thorpe is one of Britain's most collected and loved contemporary artists. Born and raised in the northeastern industrial town of Middlesbrough, Thorpe grew up in a large family that saw its share of adversity and disillusionment. Eventually able to break away from the grinding routine of factory work, Thorpe was accepted to art school where he flourished.
Since then, Mackenzie Thorpe has been an unstoppable force in the art world. Known and loved for his delicate and endearing images of innocence (and sometimes innocence lost), Thorpe reaches out to the viewer with open arms, open heart and open mind.
This important exhibition of Thorpe's artwork will contain many long sold-out editions, including serigraphs, lithographs and bronze sculpture. Please join us for this exciting collecting opportunity and To find out more about the art of Mackenzie Thorpe, please contact: Mike in San Diego, 888-294-9880 Michael in Santa Fe, 800-290-5999 Chris in Tustin, 800-959-7175 www.ChuckJones.com
