TOM'S JOKES

LEADERSHIP OPPS-

Flagstaff Leadership Program is looking to identify prospective board members to help design, implement and oversee the program moving forward. Board members may serve a maximum of two three-year terms. As one of the hardest-working, hands-on boards in our community, we are working to identify individuals who are excited and committed to the program, ensuring future leaders have an opportunity to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing Flagstaff.

Applications will be available on the FLP website starting April 5, www.flagleadership.com/board_directors.htm. A
letter of intent and the application should be returned to Cheryl Blume, Past President via email at
cblume@bothands.org or via fax at 774-6937 by Friday, April 23. Because positions on the board are limited, we are unable to accept everybody who may be interested in joining the board. The Nominating Committee, comprised of board and advisory board members, will recommend a slate of board members to the full board for consideration. In determining who will be recommended to join the board the Nominating Committee looks at the current composition of the board and tries to seat new board members to help ensure board diversity. Our bylaws also limit the number of board members who can come from one FLP class year (3 is the max). If you are not recommended by the Nominating Committee to join the board this year, you may be considered in future years.
