This offseason we also realized we need to do a better job of engaging you, our amazing volunteer base, to make volunteering with TFK an easy, meaningful, and rewarding experience. We want to help convert your sincere intentions and enthusiastic interest in sharing cycling and the outdoors with young people into a towering peak of volunteer power.

Here's what we're doing at TFKD/B to improve volunteer engagement:

• Developing the "Ride Leader" program to foster longer-term relationships with volunteers, providing special volunteer training and a sharp TFK jersey to those who make a pledge to help with five rides 
• Overhauling our information systems so we can better track volunteer interests, availability, and hours logged
• Defining a process for following up with volunteer applicants with timely, informative communications

• Apply to volunteer on our website then,
• Sign-up to volunteer for an upcoming Ride or Bike Club program date
• Pledge to volunteer for five rides this season and earn a TFK "Ride Leader" jersey, complements of Primal Wear (while supplies last!)
