Peal Izumi Invests
in TFKD

Pearl Izumi's long-term, mission-sustaining
investment in TFKD continues in 2009.

In 2005, back when I was still borrowing friends' pickups to make our rides happen, Pearl Izumi invited TFKD to be a beneficiary of their new Community Partnership Program. They understood the value of our program and decided to make an investment in our emerging organization that served just over 100 youth the prior year.

Pearl Izumi's commitment, as a major financial supporter, contributing nearly $40,000 over the past five years, has been absolutely integral to TFKD's ability to reach more and more underserved children in our community, giving them access to the great outdoors and the opportunity to participate in the health and confidence building sport of mountain biking. Thanks to Pearl Izumi's support, both financially and with their outstanding employees boosting our volunteer roles and growing crazy moustashes for the cause, our goal for the 2010 season is to involve more than 1,000 youth participants in our core youth mountain biking program.
