Marriage & Disabilities
Marriage is hard enough without the stress of what families with children with exceptionalities endure. Marriage for Keeps is a voluntary program that offers marriage education to couples in a comfortable, relaxed group setting. It is not therapy or for just couples who are having problems. The group will meet once a week for six weeks from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating in this special marriage group offered to Families Together, beginning in January, contact Anittra at (316) 945-7747 x 1011.

Morning Keynote

Refuse to Deal with Life. Make it Deal with You

Josh Hanagarne is the (formerly) twitchy, noisy giant known as the World's Strongest Librarian. He has made great progress treating his own extreme case of Tourette's Syndrome and is now working to replicate the process with others. Now that he can sit still and be quiet, his credibility as a librarian is no longer in dispute. He believes in curiosity, questions, strength, and that things are never so bad they can't improve. You're going to believe it as well. Join Josh as he shares his inspirational story and strategies.

Oral Health Pop Quiz

On average, the typical person consumes over 50 gallons of soda pop per year! The amount of acid and sugar found in a can of soda can cause serious tooth decay and lead to cavities, gum disease, and even loss of teeth. Here is a fun interactive quiz from the Minnesota Dental Association about soda pop consumption and your oral health, and remember: "sip all day, get decay"! To view the quiz
