WHAT? Survey that asks parents to describe their children's PECS training, their children's PECS use, and their own
attitudes towards PECS. Survey should not take longer than 30 minutes.
WHO? Parents of children with autism between the ages of 3 and 18 who has child was taught PECS before August 15, 2010; Child has access to PECS in at least one setting; Child diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder; Parent and child live in same residence.
WHY? Information will be used to improve interventions for nonverbal persons with autism.

Kansas Academy of Family Physicians New Initiative |
The initiative will provide education and information about the medical home model of health care that is centered on patients. It is designed to encourage primary care physicians' practices to move to the patient-centered model as a way to improve clinical outcomes and collectively the health of entire populations of patients.
