When partners give to the Dream Center, we pray that God will bless their finances and INCREASE them MORE and MORE. Their testimonies of increase are so inspiring that I wanted to share a couple with you.

Partners from Stockholm, SWEDEN

"The decision to support the East St.Louis Dream Center was an easy one for my husband and I. We've followed Rachel's hard work and just felt honored to be a small part of her amazing vision of reaching the lost. When we felt God prompting us to increase our giving, it was more so a matter of obedience. But, merely a week after my husband and I looked at each other and in faith agreed to stretch our giving, we received a phone call from a relative, telling us he wanted to give us 3,000 dollars!"

Partners from Fairview Heights, IL

"Ever since we started donating to the East St. Louis Dream Center, finances have continued to increase. I got a better paying position at my job and in that position God has blessed me to get bonuses every month! Where others in my department are struggling, He has caused me to flourish and exceed goals, it's unbelievable! It's a joy to sow into a ministry that we know is making a difference!"

Partner from O'Fallon, IL

"For about a year, money has been tight for me, but a need came up at the East St. Louis Dream Center and I felt that I should start giving more than what I was already giving. It was a stretch, but now each month when I do my bills, I end up with more money than when I wasn't giving extra!"

The current need to meet our budget in 2012, is $2,280.00 more per month. Maybe God is leading you to become a monthly partner with the East St. Louis Dream Center. If so, I encourage you to take that step of faith, even if it feels like it's stretching you. The partners listed above, gave out of a place of need. Even when it didn't seem affordable, they stepped out in faith and gave. If you sense that prompting from God and you step out in obedience, you will find that God is faithful. He will honor and bless the step of faith that you take!

Investing in ONE

I want to share a quick testimony about a fourteen year old boy who comes to Champions, our Friday night teen recreation program. I will call him Ramon. Over the years, we have seen him become hungrier for God. For the past few months, Ramon has been attending a church up the street from his neighborhood. He goes on his own and gets himself up on Sunday mornings.

After some conversations we had with him, he made the decision that he wanted to get baptized. We were willing to set it up for him at my church, but he decided that he would get baptized at the church he had been attending. This was so exciting to hear, because it meant he was plugging in there and connecting.

We are seeing this young man grow in Chirst, whether it's sharing with a volunteer his struggles, helping us serve in the kitchen or making new volunteers feel welcomed. It is such a joy to see this teen boy pursuing a closer relationship with God even if others around him are not. It is our prayer that we see his story repeated hundreds of times over. Thank you for making an investment in the lives of young people like Ramon!
