A moment of perfection comes when we give ourselves the gift of an empowering choice - a choice that is conscious, a choice that is consistent with our deepest desires. How conscious are your choices? - Debbie Ford
I am taking my own advice today and saying no to writing. I don't feel 100% (darn headache and sinuses!) so I'm making an empowering choice and going to sleep...even though there is a part of me that feels like I'm letting you down. I hope all your choices this week are conscious ones that are consistent with your deepest desires. Now get moving! |

"Here is something else that is useful -- it's a burrito builder that will give you the calorie content based on your specifications."
"I just LOVE chipotle, and can't imagine having to give it up. I usually go for the burrito bowl without rice, OR a salad though because the tortilla (or tortillas as in the case of the tacos) are just not worth the calories. plus, they're flour tortillas, which I'm not a fan of anyway. and then i eat 1/2 of the it, and put away the rest for lunch the next day."
Thanks sue! Here's another example of how to eat consciously at chipotle - eat half of it. If you really really want that 1200 calorie burrito, cut that bad boy in half and wrap up and put away (or give away) the other half. Tada! You're down to 600 calories and you still got what you really wanted. And the bonus is you'll feel good about your decision and much less full, too."
"You are so right about all these different diets, I've tried just about all of them and as soon as I stop the diet the weight comes back and most of the time I gain more then what I had lost. Since Jan. 1st. I have stopped counted the points, we have just watched the labels and told ourselves that we just eat healthier. My husband has lost 8 and I have lost 6. We still have a weekly weigh in and post it on a sheet taped to our bedroom door. He works out 4 times a week and is so very active. Myself, not so active, so I have been trying to think movement...so you always say "now get moving". That's what I am doing. I'm not saying we haven't had anything to eat bad, but we have said "No" to so many things."
