Things will be heating up at The Yacht Club in a few weeks when we host our 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off on Wednesday, March 24th at 6pm.
Whip up a batch of your famous chili and enter our contest, or just come over to the clubhouse to chow down, vote & ENJOY! Your Yacht Club team will supply plenty of (extra) chili and all the fixins', so don't miss this big event.
Great prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place so bring your pot o' chili & you could be the lucky winner!

Breezeway Items Removed This Month.
 Please remember that due to a recent visit from the Manatee County Fire Inspector, all items must be removed from every breezeway.
Per NFPA 101, Life Safety Code 2006 Edition, there is to be no storage under stairs or in breezeway areas.
Therefore, effective immediately and going forward, all items left under stairs or in breezeways, will be removed & disposed of. You will need to keep your bikes and toys in your garage or on your patio/balcony. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, however we must adhere to Fire Inspector's request to correct code violation.

New Pizza Delivery On-Site Night.
 We've enlisted a great new pizza joint
to sell their hot pies EVERY Wednesday night here at The Yacht Club! So be on the lookout for Raven Pizza to have a booth set up at the main entry fountain EVERY Wednesday night starting this month (3.3.10), around 5:30pm. They'll have pizzas (starting at only $9) & some tasty sandwich options for purchase. So you can grab dinner on the cheap, on your way home!

Protect Your Belongings. 
Do you have renter's insurance? Are you like so many who think "it can't happen to me" or "my landlord will cover it"? Think again because every day, residents just like you are hit with unforeseen disasters such as fire, flood, theft, roof leakage, electrical shortage, plumbing accidents and more.
If an accident happens to you, even if you're not to blame, there is nothing protecting your belongings unless you have renter's insurance.
Because The Yacht Club and The Bainbridge Companies care about you and your belongings, we will now be requiring all residents to carry renter's/liability insurance. Therefore, upon renewal of your lease, you will need to supply proof of such coverage.
If you already have coverage, will you please bring a copy of it to The Yacht Club office so we may update our records?
But why wait to start protecting you and your personal property & possessions? The Yacht Club has set up pre-approved renter's insurance plans through eRenterPlan (www.erenterplan.com) at extremely competitive rates... only pennies a day!

We have put requests in the newsletter time & again...
We have written notes to specific buildings and residents...
We have written lease violation letters to specific residents...
Yet we STILL have a problem with DOG DOO all over the property because pet owner's are NOT picking up after their dogs. The Yacht Club supplies the DogiPot Stations for disposal and even supplies/pays for the pick-up bags... so why are some of our resident dog owners NOT doing their civic & neighborly duty of picking up after the poop?
Our only option going forward, is to aggressively impose a $25 fine on those residents that are caught violating the Pet Policy. In addition, we will will pay a $50 reward to those residents that supply us proof of such violations.
No one should have to be subject to this unsanitary and disrespectful practice and we will make every effort to ensure that no one is any longer.

Mobile Dog Wash Day.

The Bubbles Mobile Dog Wash monthly visit is Saturday, March 19th from 2-5pm.

lf you have visitors coming into town, be sure to check availability of The Yacht Club guest suite for your friends & family. For only $100 a night, they can stay in a fully-furnished 2bed|2bath apartment. Everything they will need for a comfortable stay such as washer/dryer, toaster, iron, towels, sheets, etc., is all included & the apartment is right across from the clubhouse so they'll have easy access to the pool & fitness center.
