WE LOVE OUR RESIDENTS

During this month of many hearts & much love, we would like all of you to know how much you are appreciated!  We are so happy to have each of you as our residents and neighbors and hope you will be our Valentine for years to come!

Dog Doo Dilemma.
 
We have put requests in the newsletter time & again...
We have written notes to specific buildings and residents...
We have written lease violation letters to specific residents... 

Yet we STILL have a problem with DOG DOO all over the property because pet owner's are NOT picking up after their dogs.  The Yacht Club supplies the DogiPot Stations for disposal and even supplies/pays for the pick-up bags...  so why are some of our resident dog owners NOT doing their civic & neighborly duty of picking up after the poop? 


Our only option going forward, is to aggressively impose a $25 fine on those residents that are caught violating the Pet Policy.  In addition, we will will pay a $50 reward to those residents that supply us proof of such violations. 

No one should have to be subject to this unsanitary and disrespectful practice and we will make every effort to ensure that no one is any longer.
Breezeway Bicyles Banned.

Per a recent visit from the Manatee County Fire Inspector, please be advised that all items must be removed from the breezeways of all floors of all buildings.

Per NFPA 101, Life Safety Code 2006 Edition, there is to be no storage under stairs or in breezeway areas. 

Therefore, effective 3.1.10 and going forward, all items left under stairs or in breezeways, will be removed & disposed of.  You will need to keep your bikes and toys in your garage or on your patio/balcony.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, however we must adhere to Fire Inspector's request to correct code violation.

no solicitingThe Yacht Club is posted for NO SOLICITING.  However, there are those that do not adhere to our desire to keep our residents from being disturbed.  If you see someone leaving flyers around the property or an individual/group comes to your door trying to sell something, please call the office right away at 744.1340 (or local police if you feel threatened).  Provide a description & location & the answering service will page the Courtesy Officer*  to address.

Mobile Dog Wash Day. Bubbles Dog Wash

Bubbles Mobile Dog Wash monthly visit is Saturday, February 20th from 2-5pm.

Our landscaping has taken a beating over the last few months... the unusually cold weather we've been having has really done some frost damage and there were numerous issues with the prior landscaping company.  So we have re-hired Green Thumb to come in & take care of our community grounds again.  They will work on repairing, replacing, fertilizing, mulching, etc. over the next few months to re-green the grounds!  There are areas where we can help to--please be sure to remind children not to climb in trees or walk through bushes & shrub areas and/or pull flowers or leaves off them.  And please keep your pets out of the bushes & plantings to prevent them from being trampled.  Thanks to everyone for help in keeping The Yacht Club a lush & beautiful place to call home!

As you know, we happily change your AC filter & test your smoke detectors once per quarter.  Please see below for February's change-out schedule:

If you ever have issues with your AC unit, the filter or smoke detector in your apartment, please call the office to schedule service & we will address the situation right away.
