A simple but effective idea for eliminating interruptions is to create detailed checklists for people who are helping you out. This way they can work independently, complete all the necessary steps without forgetting, and reduce the need to interrupt you with questions. It may take a bit of time in the beginning to create the checklist, but it probably can be used again another time. Apply this principle in the workplace or with family members who are doing tasks for you around home.
