Greetings!
Digital photography can quickly turn into a sea of pictures that become virtual clutter!
Establish a system for keeping your photos organized.
Try as best you can to edit your photos on your camera at the end of each event. We have the tendency to download every picture we take - whether or not they are good pictures.
This leads to "picture clutter" that we have to weed through on the computer. So edit before you download. When you download, if you don't have a photo program, take the time to organize the photos into monthly folders. If editing and printing seem like an overwhelming job, commit to setting your timer for even 15 minutes every week to work away at your photos.
Once you have edited a set, print them out and slide them into a pocket photo album. Photos will remain in chronological order and can be looked at by all. If you get around to scrapbooking, the photos are ready to go. If not, they are ready to be enjoyed instead of sitting in a box somewhere.
