With the warmer weather finally upon us, it's time to deal with off season clothing. We can now switch out the long sleeves and sweaters for the T-shirts and tank tops. And let us not forget the shorts, capri's, swimsuits and all the summer sandals. This may mean placing all winter items in your storage area and bringing your summer items back into your dressers and closets. Or if you are blessed with large closets and lots of drawer space, this may simply mean moving things around so that they are in your "prime real estate" areas, making accessing these summer items more effectively.
Be sure to ask yourself some questions about these summer clothes: "Do I still like this?" "Does it still fit?" "Will I wear it?" "Do I really need this many _______?"
This is also a great time to hang all your clothes so that the open end of the hanger faces toward you. As you wear and rehang items throughout the season, turn the hanger the correct way around. At the end of the season, you'll be able to see what you wore and what you didn't, making the decision to donate unused items easier.
Keep in mind...we wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time!
