Lawn Parties & Liberty Belles

Dear Friends,

We are so proud to be part of some incredibly exciting vintage happenings over the next few weeks. This weekend, you can find us playing festive music with some real swell gents at The Jazz Age Lawn Party out on Governors Island.  And on July 4th, don't miss the second annual Liberty Belle Spectacular on the roof of the Empire Hotel. This event was a smash hit last year, and is not to be missed.  Get your tickets in advance!  We'll also be playing at the cozy French bistro, FADA, in Williamsburg, and at the jazz and supper club Swing 46 in midtown. On Friday morning, we'll be guests on Michael Haar's wonderful East Village Radio program, The Ragged Phonograph, streaming live from 8am to 10am.

June is one of the most beautiful months in the city, so come out and enjoy it with us! And if you're already out of town at the seashore, you can pick up a copy of our new CD, Moonlight Picnic, on CDBaby.com to bring some vintage nostalgia to your lazy summer nights.

Wishing you a lovely start to summer,

Gelber & Manning

Under a shady grove of centuries-old trees, caressed by fresh sea air, a sprawling green surrounded by historic officers' quarters and 18th century naval ramparts becomes the setting for a true Gatsby affair. Widely anticipated by flappers, sporting gents and tiny tots alike, this event has been featured and reviewed consistently by The New York Times, who selected the Jazz Age Lawn Party as one of the most memorable parties of 2009 and 2010.
