TBC-HCE
Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition 1.20 is now available. It contains many enhancements, including:








  • Improved graphics display performance
  • New data editing capabilities 
  • Support for LandXML alignments with stored cross-sections
  • Surface cut/fill gridTBC-HCE Cut-Fill Map
  • Surface elevation grid
  • Introduction of the Linestring (a new object that holds the true horizontal and vertical data
  • Surface to alignment linking

TBC-HCE is available for download by clicking HERE.  Follow the instructions for downloading part 1 and part 2.  Disks will be available in the coming weeks.

Terramodel 10.6

Terramodel 10.6 is now available.  It contains many enhancements, including:

  • RoadDTM Command has been improved to improve surface creation for complex roadways.
    • Eliminates user responsibility for creating xlines everywhere that surface data is desired
    • Analyzes xlines data and considers both horizontal and vertical variance based upon a tolerance
  • Alignment-based Surface Linking (TBC-HCE roadway data can be handled in Terramodel)
  • SCS900 Designs Containing only Roadway Alignment - Roads can now be staked out using HAL only, HAL/VAL only, or a full section
A Terramodel 10.6 CD will need to be obtained from your Trimble dealer.

Trimble Dimensions 2009 

Trimble Dimensions user conference is set for February 23-25, 2009, mark your calendar.  Trimble Dimensions is just as it is stated, a user conference.  It includes classes focused on specific topics such as, How to Slope Stake a Roadway using SCS900 and Understanding GCS900 Components.  The classes are taught by people that use the products daily.  Trimble Dimensions is not a sales pitch.
