Teen Reading Group is Launched!
Calling all teens, ages 13-19, who love to read! The Haddonfield Public Library will be having its first ever Teen Reading and Review board. Teens who want to be on the cutting edge of literature and read select YA & 15 up titles before they are published should join today! Members will get to choose from a selection of advance copies of teen titles, read them before they are published, and let us know if we should purchase the book for our teen collection! We will meet about once a month to choose titles and talk about what's good and what's not in teen literature. Refreshments will be provided at these meetings and they are sure to be a good time, but attendance is not mandatory to be a part of the board. If you cannot attend meetings, the review can easily be emailed to the library. Be part of the selection process, and have your voice heard! If you are interested in joining, use our Facebook page online. Click here to register. For more information, email Erica Braverman Erica Braverman will contact members to let them know about the first meeting!
Teen Craft Programs will resume in January! |

Meet Erica Braverman, Teen Coordinator and Weekend Librarian
Erica Braverman is the Teen Services and Weekend Reference Librarian. Having a passion for reading from a young age, Erica knew she would have a career that involved books in one way or another. She loves children's and teen literature, so a job that allows her to work with children and books is the perfect fit! Erica worked as a middle school Language Arts teacher for 6 years, and is now an elementary school librarian in Lindenwold. Being the teen services librarian in Haddonfield rounds out her interests and gives her the opportunity to get creative with her events. The events she really loves are the teen craft nights. With an artistic spirit, Erica really brings creativity to the crafts that are specially selected for teens. Come by for a craft night, or say stop by and say hi one weekend when Erica is at the reference desk! Erica has her Master's in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University.
