Greetings. It is June and the library is getting ready for the Summer Reading program. There will be a lot of activities for kids and teens all summer long. The theme this year is Make a Splash! Read what is going on below.

There will be a meeting to update the community on the library's possible expansion on June 9.
Come to the library in hot weather, cool off, grab your books, DVDs, and magazines to take on your vacation. Hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

A Special Thank You  to Superintendent of Schools Alan Fegley

Alan Fegley, Haddonfield Superintendent of Schools and member of the Haddonfield Public Library Board of Trustees, is moving on. The Library Board and staff wish Alan the best in his new employment in Pennsylvania. Alan is that very unique superintendent who comes to almost every Library Board meeting. He was instrumental in developing shared services with the library and Borough of Haddonfield to reduce costs. This included an interlocal services agreement to assist with painting of the library and creation of the teen corner. Alan facilitated the support of Borough wide library services to students, teachers and the community through joint projects of the school and public librarians. Alan also helped to publicize activities for students and parents. He has been a great supporter of summer reading activities. Everyone at the library wishes Alan and his family all the best in their new endeavors. Thank you from the public library!
