 The library is getting a redesign of its website. We would like your ideas of how we can improve it and make it easier to use. Please take a minute to complete a short survey that will help us to meet your needs. Click on the link below to get to the survey.
   Are you looking for events for your teens or children this summer? Check out the programs listed herein to provide a fun summer for them. Reading can be fun - check out all that the library has to offer.
   Need a good read or movie in the hottest weather? Take out DVDs to view with your family when the heat keeps you inside. Do you have an I-Pod? Check out the large selection of audiobooks that can be downloaded to it so you can listen while driving to your vacation.
 Don't forget - the library has the Haddonfield school system middle and high school required summer reading books when you need them! Check out the new teen area with these books.

 The library is getting a redesign of its website. We would like your ideas of how we can make it easier to use and to improve content. Please note that this is not about our online catalog. It is only about our website.

Did you ever dream about getting locked in the library overnight to read to your heart's content? Teens can do it on July 18, from 4:30-9:30 pm. Activities will include playing games, viewing movies, making crafts, and of course, eating with your friends!  Call  429-1304 to register. Sophie Brookover will conduct the night's events! Stay cool at the lock in!
 
Pretty in Pink 
Teens - See a Retro Movie and Make a Craft
 
 Come see the film "Pretty in Pink" on August 13, from 6:30-9 pm. While at the library you can deconstruct or decorate a t-shirt in solidarity with Molly Ringwald's crafty character, Andie. Meet your friends and make new ones. Sophie Brookover will oversee the night's events. Call 429-1304 to register.

Teens - Eat Ice Cream @ the library
 
Come  to an end of the summer "Make Your Own Sundae Party" on August 29, from 1-3 pm. Dish up some ice cream (with as many toppings as you want) before heading back to school. Try some new toppings!  For a flyer on teen events, click here.
Atlantic Monthly 
Summer - a good time to catch up on magazines @your library
 
If you like going to the beach and reading, take an armful of magazines and catch up on your favorites. The library has about 150 magazines that you can check out for two weeks. The selection ranges from Atlantic Monthly to Yoga. Stop in and browse the titles. The library also has a free exchange of donated magazines. Bring a few in and take a few out! Your neighbors will appreciate your donation.

DVDs for Hot Weather ! Cool off with a good movie.
 
Do you like to catch up with the latest or classic movies when it is too hot to do much else? Pick up several for your family at the library. Click here for a list of the latest films the library has added to its film holdings. The library also has several TV series DVDs, such as Foyle's War, the Sopranos, the West Wing, and The Wire. Reserve them from our online catalog or call the library. (See links below.) 
 
Downloadable Books  are now compatible with I-Pods !
 
Nearly all of the library's subscription to Overdrive Audiobooks are now available to download to your i-Pod,iPhoneT, iPod touch, and iPiPodod nano, as well as Zune and thousands of other portable devices. There are several other new features which you have been requesting. For more information  click here.

Browse episodes by PBS program or by topics such as culture and science. Also under the "Topics" tag are current events collections such as "Flu Outbreak" and "Obama Presidency." Includes links to PBS videos for children and podcasts.  
 
Biography   Do you like to read about people in the news? Need a quick biography of someone from history? Biography.com is devoted to giving you biographical sketches of the famous and near famous. Check out who was born on your birthday.
  
Cyberrentals  Going on vacation? Need a quick rental at any place in the world? Try this site to rent directly. Also good for those who want to rent  a place to others.
 
 America's Newspapers      Do you like to read newspapers from American cities? Check out this site for the news from Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York and lots more.  You will need your library card to get to the newspapers.
