Friends of the Library Book Sale was a huge success!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Haddonfield Friends of the Library annual book sale on Sept. 20 was a wonderful event. The Friends earned more than $14,000 and sold thousands of books. Bargain hunters lined up by 9 am to search for treasures. The event proves that reading is very much alive and well in Haddonfield and surrounding communities. Friends' president, Phil Shapiro, is especially thankful to the community for volunteering to help. A big thank you goes out to John and Chris Wolf, Brian Smith, Bob Adams, and the two dozen or so Friends, citizens and students who helped promote the event. Phil also thanks the community for donating the books that make the sale one of the premier library book sales in the state. To see pictures of the event, go to the library's website at www.haddonfieldlibrary.org
