REV. DR. HASSELBECK TO SPEAK SUNDAY

Hasselbeck Please join us for this Sunday's 10 a.m. service and enjoy Rev. Dr. Paul Hasselbeck's message, "Trouble in the Hood--Victim Hood That Is!" Rev. Hasselbeck, Dean of Unity Institute's Spiritual Education and Enrichment program, will provide us with a road map to realizing our Christ potential. He will explain the four levels of consciousness: victim consciousness (things happen TO ME), victor consciousness (BY ME), vessel consciousness (THROUGH ME) and Verity Consciousness (IT IS ME). Listen to this master Unity metaphysician tell it like it really is, and then go forth and be the best Christ you can be.

REV. DR. HASSELBECK WORKSHOP SUNDAY

Rev. Dr. Paul Hasselbeck will give a workshop titled "Get Over It: A Metaphysical Romp" on Sunday, September 2, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Strong Room. Take a metaphysical romp through our various sayings like "it is what it is" and "we are like a drop in the ocean." Learn about the truth kernel in each one as well as grow into a deeper understanding of our Unity teachings. The workshop will clarify and amplify our understanding and practice of key metaphysical ideas. The workshop is based on Paul's book of the same title, "Get Over It." Love-offering basis.

FEEDING THE POOR MEETING, SEPT. 9

At the July Quarterly Meeting, several congregants expressed interest about how UnityCR can help address the food needs in our community. To move this idea forward, a meeting has been set for Sunday, Sept. 9, to discuss feeding the poor and hungry. Plan to meet after the service at 11:30 a.m. for one hour. Watch next week's e-news for the location.

Unity 101 is an opportunity to meet new folks, learn a bit about Unity teachings, and get a better understanding of the structure of UnityCR and Unity Worldwide Ministries. It is also an opportunity for prospective members to prepare for membership. If you wish to join UnityCR, attendance at all four classes is required. For more information, see your Licensed Unity Leader team: Susan Liddell, Janith Griffith, Barb Buchanan or Rev. Brenda.
